As some of you know, the incredible Carla Rankin (Lara's Cousin) sadly passed away in August this year after having an illness that she never let get in her way. It has always been a personal ambition of mine to run a long distance race such as the half marathon so it felt appropriate to do this in memory of Carla and to raise awareness of Epilepsy.
