Story

Friends, relatives and colleagues of Carla did an amazing 10K Manchester charity run in memory of Carla two years ago and raised a substantial sum of money which was absolutely awesome.

I find myself in the curious position of having registered for the new Manchester Half Marathon this coming weekend (28th May 2017).

If you can spare some money and could donate to my Just Giving page for this worthy cause I will be most grateful.

Our daughter Carla didn't survive an Epilepsy Seizure in 2014 and since then her wonderful friends and relatives have been tirelessly raising awareness and funds for Epilepsy Action in her memory.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So so happy!!!! Thank you so much for all your generous support!!!. I set the target at £300 to coincide with Carla's 30th year and it is already at £565 on the Just Giving Site with a further £150 on Carla's fund raising page. Might be a while before I do another half but the event was amazing; rock bands, steel bands, choirs, cheering supporters, even a brass band. The atmosphere was incredible. Again, thank you so much

As part of my training someone threw a bottle of omega-3 at me. I wasn't hurt as my injuries were only super fish-oil (sorry!) xxxx
