In Memory of Carla

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Our daughter would think I am utterly mad, but I am going to run the Manchester Half Marathon next weekend (20th May 2018) for the sole purpose of raising awareness and funds for Epilepsy Action.

I will be carrying a huge C shaped balloon all the way round in her memory which I am sure Carla would have found extremely funny.

Our younger daughter Felicity (who is utterly mad!) will be running the Sydney Half Marathon a few hours before on the same day for the same charity! She will be carrying the same rose gold balloon too!!!!

As you may know we lost Carla to a seizure four years ago at the age of 27 and we are still desperately keen to raise funds for  Epilepsy Action who were so supportive to her during her life.

Gill Reynolds, a close friend,  is also running the Manchester 10k on the same day to raise funds for Epilepsy Action which is utterly fantastic of her.

If you are able to donate anything we would be so grateful and every penny counts. Our ultimate goal is to raise one million poundsfor Epilepsy Action in her memory and your donation will make such a difference in helping those who have this condition.

Now, where is that balloon....?
